Position Overview

Autodesk is seeking a dynamic and experienced Tech Marketing Manager to join our Cross-Industry and Retention Marketing team. This role is perfect for a tech-savvy individual with a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by tech admins. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and informative marketing materials that showcase the features and capabilities of Autodesk products, enabling tech admins to maximize their use of our solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Content Creation: Develop high-quality marketing materials, including whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, and newsletters, that clearly articulate the benefits and functionalities of Autodesk products for tech admins

  • Multimedia Production: Capture and produce instructional videos, screenshots, and demos to illustrate how tech admins can leverage Autodesk products to streamline their workflows and solve common challenges

  • Communication: Collaborate with internal teams, including product management, sales, and customer success, to gather insights and ensure consistent messaging

  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and the evolving needs of tech admins to ensure our marketing strategies and materials remain relevant and effective

  • Customer Advocacy: Engage with tech admin communities to understand their pain points, gather feedback, and incorporate their perspectives into marketing initiatives

  • Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and materials, using data-driven insights to optimize future efforts

Minimum Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a tech marketing role, with a proven track record of creating compelling content for a technical audience

  • Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of technology, including software, hardware, and IT infrastructure. Ability to quickly learn and convey the technical aspects of Autodesk products

  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner

  • Multimedia Skills: Proficiency in capturing and editing screenshots and video content. Experience with tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, or similar is a plus

  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts and make data-driven decisions

  • Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

Qualifications minimales

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For Canada-BC based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $82,700 and $121,220. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
