As a Technical Marketing Engineer, you will act as a key link between the R&D organization and the broader Go-To-Market teams at Littelfuse. You will support the technical positioning, readiness, and competitiveness of the product portfolio by translating complex engineering concepts into customer-focused technical content and tools.
Working closely with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, FAEs, and Marketing teams, you will help ensure products are technically ready for market launch and easy for customers to understand and apply. This role combines technical expertise with communication, market awareness, and cross-functional collaboration.
About the Job:
Develop technical marketing specifications and supporting documentation for assigned product families, including Product Data Sheets (PDS) and technical marketing content.
Create and maintain customer-facing technical materials that clearly communicate product features, applications, and specifications.
Support the preparation and maintenance of datasheets, glossary documentation, application notes, and white papers to improve product understanding.
Maintain and update Fuseology tools, fuse selection guidelines, derating data, and time-current curve information for low and high voltage product portfolios.
Support benchmark studies and competitive analysis activities for relevant product categories.
Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, and Business Development teams to ensure product readiness aligned with Go-To-Market strategy roadmaps.
Provide technical training to FAEs, Sales teams, and other internal stakeholders on product families and application examples.
Define and coordinate technical toolkits and sample kit availability to support customer engagement and sales activities.
Participate in international industry committees and standards organizations (e.g. ISO, IEC, VDA) to support relevant fuse and protection standards.
Support customer meetings alongside Sales and FAEs by providing technical expertise and application guidance.
Work closely with Marketing and digital teams to support technical content development for websites and promotional activities.
Review and monitor technical documentation and specifications to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
Drive continuous improvement in how technical information is communicated internally and externally.
Ensure effective communication and collaboration across multiple global business units and functions.
About You:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
5-7 years of experience in product design, applications engineering, technical marketing, or related roles involving electrical or electronic components.
Experience working within a global manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
Strong technical understanding of electrical/electronic products and their customer applications.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into customer-friendly content.
Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
Experience creating technical documentation such as datasheets, application notes, or white papers.
Confident working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, Sales, and Marketing teams.
Advanced Microsoft Office skills and familiarity with technical data analysis and presentation tools.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in an international, collaborative environment.
Experience supporting industry standards activities or participation in technical committees would be an advantage.
