About This Role
Responsible for the technical operations in the CAE Sydne training center
- Min 8 years of relevant experience in technical operations.
- Responsible for the maintenance and operation of FSTD and related equipment.
- Responsible to manage the team of simulator Engineers and technicians on a day to day basis to achieve the established goals and objectives of the technical department.
- Coordinate delivery and qualification of new simulators and other training devices; plan and execute engineering updates when required.
- Overall responsibility for an extensive inventory that includes spare parts, materials and consumables.
- Responsible for the regulatory compliance and the certification of the FSTD’s by various local and external aviation authorities
Responsible for achieving and sustaining the established operational KPIs on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
Responsible of training center Budget
- Create annual CapEx and OpEx budgets and control expenditures.
- Responsible for cost management for corresponding cost centers
Assure the highest level of customer service is delivered by staff to all customers.
Responsible for the implementation of a quality assurance program that includes performance measures for training device reliability.
- Responsible for ensuring and sustaining the highest level of Environment, Health and Safety compliance as per the established Global EHS policies and practices. Promotes and foster safety culture within the technical team.
HR responsibilities
- Develops the talent pipeline (hiring), drives corporate culture and leads all employee management activities
- Performs employee management activities such as resources allocation, performance evaluation, and employee development for the assigned team members
