About the Role
As a Technical Manager, you will own the technical integrity and lifecycle of complex customer solutions, ensuring services align with both technical requirements and business objectives. You will act as the primary technical advocate, helping customers maximise value from GTT’s managed service portfolio.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• Own the technical lifecycle of customer solutions
• Act as the primary technical point of contact
• Translate business requirements into scalable solutions
• Provide expertise across SD-WAN, routing and security
• Lead technical risk assessments and security reviews
• Support service reviews and continuous improvement
• Contribute to RFIs, RFPs and customer audits
• Collaborate across Sales, Engineering and Service Management teams
What We’re Looking For:
Essential:
• 5+ years in Telecommunications, MSP or enterprise networking
• SD-WAN experience (Aruba Silver Peak, VeloCloud and/or Fortinet)
• Palo Alto and/or Fortinet security expertise
• Strong MPLS, BGP and QoS knowledge
• ITIL understanding and customer-facing experience
Nice to have:
• Cisco and/or Juniper expertise
• SASE, SSE, CASB, DLP, XDR or Vulnerability Management
• Azure, AWS or Google Cloud experience
• Experience supporting global enterprise customers
