Summary
The Publications librarian is responsible for organizing, maintaining, revising, printing, and distributing manuals and documents contained in the Library. The Publications Librarian is also responsible for auditing controlled manuals, and ensuring that all technical manuals for stations are individuals are current in all locations where issued, and that they are in compliance with the CFRs.

Minimum Requirements
A combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
Years of Experience: Minimum three (3) years of experience in related field.
• Other Minimum Requirements - Proficient with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Work, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Preferred Requirements
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree.
• Basic understanding of document distribution and management process.
• Customer service skills.
• Ability to foster teamwork.
• Oral and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Experience working in an airline environment.
Job Duties
• Administers procedures for all manual holders for tracking and follow-up of manual distribution and revisions.
• Assures that controlled documents contained in the library are audited for content as well as the revision status.
• Updates database relative to revision release and acknowledgement tracking.
• Notifies the Manager of Publications of any conflicts noted in a manual or between manuals.
• Printing and distribution of manuals for training classes.
• Oversight, printing, and distribution of interdepartmental requests using the Publications Print Request (via JIRA).
• Logs and distributes mail.
• Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
