Join our Waterloo team as a Technical Leader and guide projects that push the boundaries of what’s possible.
What you’ll do
Lead technical direction for one or more imaging projects
Ensure products meet customer specifications and reliability standards
Manage technical risks and drive solutions
Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams
Prepare and review technical reports and documentation
Support design for manufacturability and reliability
Interact with internal groups like manufacturing and purchasing
Occasionally travel to support customers and product introductions
What you need
Required: Strong leadership and communication skills
Required: Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree in Physics, Nanotechnology, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
Required: 5+ years of design/development experience
Required: Proven experience leading technical projects and teams
Required: Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
Advantage: Experience with ECSS/MIL standards and space systems
Advantage: Knowledge of CCD/CMOS image sensors
Advantage: Technical program management experience
