The role & responsibilities

We’re looking for a Technical Lead to join our Technology Hub in Madrid. Someone who combines strong engineering expertise with leadership, and thrives in a fast-moving, high-impact environment.

You’ll lead a team of talented engineers, drive modern architecture decisions, and help shape our platforms in the AI era.

Your main responsibilities will be:

• Define and drive scalable technical solutions across our ecosystem
• Lead architecture decisions across cloud, SaaS, and on-prem solutions
• Ensure best practices across engineering, testing, security, and integration
• Own and improve non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, scalability)
• Lead the adoption of AI in the Software Development Lifecycle
• Collaborate with international teams across Europe & South America
• Coach and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality software.

What you bring

• At least 4  years in software development
• At least 2 years in a technical lead or similar position
• Deep knowledge of Java in distributed environments
• Expertise in relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, Mongo, etc)
• Experience with microservices architectures
• Knowledge of container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc
• Expertise in Kafka
• Hands-on mindset in a DevOps culture
• Strong communication skills and ability to align tech & business
• Leadership skills and ability to coach others
• A very proactive mindset and innovative approach
