The role & responsibilities
We’re looking for a Technical Lead to join our Technology Hub in Madrid. Someone who combines strong engineering expertise with leadership, and thrives in a fast-moving, high-impact environment.
You’ll lead a team of talented engineers, drive modern architecture decisions, and help shape our platforms in the AI era.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Define and drive scalable technical solutions across our ecosystem
- Lead architecture decisions across cloud, SaaS, and on-prem solutions
- Ensure best practices across engineering, testing, security, and integration
- Own and improve non-functional requirements (performance, reliability, scalability)
- Lead the adoption of AI in the Software Development Lifecycle
- Collaborate with international teams across Europe & South America
- Coach and mentor engineers to deliver high-quality software.
What you bring
- At least 4 years in software development
- At least 2 years in a technical lead or similar position
- Deep knowledge of Java in distributed environments
- Expertise in relational and non-relational databases (Oracle, MySQL, Sybase, Mongo, etc)
- Experience with microservices architectures
- Knowledge of container orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc
- Expertise in Kafka
- Hands-on mindset in a DevOps culture
- Strong communication skills and ability to align tech & business
- Leadership skills and ability to coach others
- A very proactive mindset and innovative approach
