Seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead to join our dynamic team, focusing on the rigorous validation of our next-generation Wi-Fi and Mesh-enabled devices. Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and execute comprehensive test cases for Wi-Fi and Mesh-enabled residential gateway networks, covering functional, performance, stability, and interoperability aspects.
  • Perform in-depth functional validation of advanced wireless features, including 802.11ax/ac/n, 802.11s Mesh, WPA2-Personal/Enterprise, WPA3-SAE, Band Steering, WMM QoS, DFS, RTS/CTS, AMPDU, MU-MIMO, and complex coexistence scenarios.
  • Validate critical mesh network behaviors such as multi-hop routing, self-healing capabilities, load balancing, and seamless roaming (802.11r/k/v).
  • Conduct traffic generation, stress, and throughput testing using industry-leading tools like Spirent, Ixia, IXIA VeriWave, and iPerf.
  • Analyze packet captures, network traces, and logs to identify root causes across device firmware, Wi-Fi/Mesh protocols, and cloud integrations.
  • Work closely with development teams to reproduce issues, perform thorough root cause analysis, and validate fixes efficiently.
  • Create high-quality defect reports, complete with detailed logs, traces, packet captures, and clear reproduction steps.
Qualifications

Your have:

  • BE/B.Tech in Electronics, Comp. Science or relevant field. 
  • 2-5 Years of hands-on experience with Wi-Fi and Mesh testing specifically in residential gateway products (ONTs, Beacons, Routers, APs).
  • Strong Knowledge and hands on experience in Data Networking Domains L2 – L7 Protocols testing.
  • A profound understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards, including:

    802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax (Wi-Fi 6), 802.11s (Mesh networking), 802.11r/k/v (Fast roaming and radio resource management)

  • Proficiency with Testing Tools:

    Experience simulating wireless clients in real-time scenarios using tools like IXIA VeriWave.

    Expertise with network traffic generation and performance testing tools such as Spirent, Ixia, and iPerf.

    Proficiency in network debugging and monitoring tools: Wireshark, tcpdump, packet capture, and log analysis.

  • Experience working on Linux/Unix systems for debugging, scripting, and system-level analysis.
  • Knowledge of testing concepts, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify root causes across device, network, and cloud layers.
