We are looking for a Technical Lead for our IT HR & Comms Business Platform. As a Technical Lead at Verisure, you will play a pivotal role in guiding a team of engineers and providing the technical direction of our projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver high-quality software solutions, ensuring they align with our business objectives and meet the highest industry standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership: Guide and support a team of software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of software applications. Act as a technical reference point and mentor to team members. Collaborate closely with Product Owners and business stakeholders to understand business requirements, define and drive technical execution. 

• Architecture and Design: Collaborate with the product and engineering teams to define technical requirements and design scalable and robust software solutions. Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Create and manage your technical debt backlog

• Development: Take an active role in software development, contributing to the codebase, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions. Validate SW designs: Archetypes, design patterns, sonar rules.

• Project Management: Oversee project planning, task allocation, and timeline management to ensure project milestones are met. Identify and mitigate technical risks. 

• Code Reviews: Conduct and participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, identify potential improvements, and ensure codebase consistency. 

• Technical Problem Solving: Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide innovative solutions. Collaborate with the team to address challenges and bottlenecks. 

• Team Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, QA engineers, and designers, to deliver feature-rich software. 

• Documentation: Ensure proper documentation of technical designs, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and future reference. 

• Innovation: Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Identify opportunities to introduce new technologies and methodologies to enhance product development.

• Main stakeholders:

  • You will work closely with the product owner to understand the business needs and transform them into technical requirements for the team.

  • You will interact with architecture team to validate high level architecture design: Workday integrations, API integration, Azure and AWS integration environments, SQL servers, Jenkins pipelines.

  • Scrum Master and WoW team to ensure the team follow the WoW of the company and best practices are implemented.

  • Work together with the Service/Maintenance team, QA team and developers to drive to 0 the bugs in production.

  • Other Technical Leads to have a common ground on best practices adoption

Requirements

• Master/ B.A in Computer Engineer or Telecommunications

• Fluent in English

• +6 years of proven experience in Software Development, ideally as a Full-stack developer with knowledge in the following technologies:

  • Workday Integration

  • Azure and AWS platform.

  • Development best practices, control version tools (GitLab), CI/CD, and SW quality (GIT, Maven, Jenkins, Artifactory, SONAR, code reviews, etc.), testing automation, GitHub Copilot.

  • Phyton, Java, C, Power Bi

• Experience working in Agile environments, including methodologies such as SCRUM, Kanban, SAFe, and LeSS, with remote teams.

• Strategic mindset and leadership capabilities to guide technical direction and drive strategy implementation.
