The Role

We are currently looking for a Sr. Technical Lead to join our team.

Essential Job Functions (Include but are not limited to)

  • Development:
    • Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, and data processing pipelines.
    • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using appropriate languages and frameworks.
    • Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to deliver robust and scalable solutions.
  • Database Management:
    • Design and optimize database schemas for performance, scalability, and reliability.
    • Implement data migration, transformation, and manipulation tasks as needed.
    • Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security in backend systems.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Identify and address performance bottlenecks in backend systems through optimization and refactoring.
    • Implement caching mechanisms, asynchronous processing, and other techniques to improve system performance.
    • Conduct performance testing and profiling to identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality Assurance and Testing:
    • Write unit tests, integration tests, and end-to-end tests to ensure the quality and reliability of backend systems.
    • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
    • Collaborate with QA engineers to identify and resolve bugs and issues.
  • Documentation and Technical Support:
    • Document design decisions, architecture diagrams, and implementation details.
    • Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers and team members.
    • Assist in troubleshooting production issues and implementing solutions in a timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in backend development, with a proven track record of leading successful projects and teams.
  • Strong working knowledge of GraphQL and AWS
  • Working knowledge of microservices architecture, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes), and serverless computing.
  • Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Java, Python, node.js, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience with relational and non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, etc.).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.
  • Experience managing day-to-day technical and design direction for large scale systems.
  • Ability to influence multiple stakeholders, achieve strategic goals and evolve product strategy based on research, data, and industry trends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of message brokers, queues, and streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Contributions to open-source projects or participation in developer communities.
