Technical Lead

We are looking to add a Technical Lead who must be local to the New England area.

What You Can Do For Us

• Lead a team and spearhead our efforts in developing a world-class ecommerce product.
• With a minimum of 10 years of industry experience, you should possess a comprehensive understanding of both server-side and client-side technologies.
• Experience across Python, Node, MSSQL, and React. DevOps is also critical to this role, specifically in Heroku, Vercel, and Azure.
• A solid grasp of coding fundamentals and a deep understanding of web technologies.
• Ability to navigate diverse technical challenges, commitment to clean, maintainable code, and enthusiasm for mentoring and leading your team.
• Partner with internal teams, including Product, Marketing, and Customer Service to understand requirements, user needs and design feasibility

Who We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with a strong mentorship mentality, guiding and uplifting team members.
• Proactive problem-solving approach, ready to tackle challenges across various projects.
• Deep understanding of the impact of our technology on users and stakeholders.
• Ability to lead team activities, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Expertise in serving as a technology domain expert to internal stakeholders.
• Proficiency in React and extensive experience in developing RESTful and GraphQL-based APIs in Python and/or .NET.
• Skilled in cloud services, including Heroku, Vercel, and Azure. As well as an understanding of cloud architecture.
• Experience in test-driven development for both the front-end and back-end, with an emphasis on integration testing.
• Familiarity with Continuous Delivery / Continuous Integration processes.
• Proficient in modern JavaScript, including TypeScript and ES7+ features, ensuring code quality and maintainability.

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of modern web frameworks like Next.js or Gatsby.
• Experience with Headless CMS platforms such as Contentful or Sanity.
• Insight into SEO strategies and web analytics.
