Job Description

Xplor Technologies Field Services mission is to transform the field services industry by providing user-friendly and intuitive software tools that empower field service technicians and organizations to work smarter and more efficiently.
As a Tech Lead of PHP, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software applications using LAMP and Laravel technologies. You will work closely with our product development team to deliver innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers in the field services industry.
Responsibilities:

Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure web applications using LAMP stack and Laravel framework

Mentor developers and QAs with in the team on day today technical work.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of Xplor's customers and partners

Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code that meets coding standards and best practices
-
Troubleshoot and debug software issues, and implement fixes to ensure optimal performance and user experience
-
Deploy applications to production, and monitor and maintain the infrastructure and applications
-
Mentor and guide other developers and offshore resources, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and practices

Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on code quality and design

Modernize legacy applications using modern software development practices and technologies
-
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in software development
-
Perform administrative tasks and training including compliance and others related to software engineering
Qualifications
Requirements:
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
-
8+ years of professional experience in software development, with a focus on LAMP stack and Laravel framework
-
Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies
-
Experience with modern web development frameworks and tools, such as Vue.js or React, and Git
-
Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles
-
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases
-
Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud
-
Familiarity with tools such as JIRA for project management and bug tracking
-
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for software deployment and testing
-
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
-
Strong communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
-
Experience working with legacy applications, and integrating them with modern web applications
-
Comfortable working in a schedule that allows for collaboration with offshore team members.

Bonus points for past experience in C#, .NET Framework, and/or .NET Core
