The Technical Lead for eFACTORY will be responsible for leading the design, development, and support of the eFACTORY platform, which supports engineering workflows, tools, and processes. The role involves technical leadership, architecture decision-making, team mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions tailored for engineering operations.
- Lead the technical planning, design, and implementation of the eFACTORY platform and its components.
- Collaborate with engineering teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers and support engineers.
- Drive best practices in coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
- Oversee system integrations, ensuring seamless connectivity between engineering tools and platforms.
- Manage code reviews, architectural decisions, and technical documentation.
- Identify risks and technical challenges, and propose mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and quality delivery.
- Participate in resolving complex incidents escalated by support teams.
- Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements.
- 10+ Strong experience in software development and technical leadership roles
- Expertise in architecture and design of complex engineering systems or platforms.
- Proficiency in relevant programming languages and frameworks used in eFACTORY (e.g., Java, C#, Python, or others depending on your tech stack).
- Solid understanding of integration technologies (APIs, web services, middleware).
- Hands-on experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.
- Strong knowledge of databases, both relational and NoSQL.
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization (AWS, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead and inspire technical teams in an agile environment.
- Previous experience with engineering domain platforms or PLM (Product Lifecycle Management) systems.
- Familiarity with eFACTORY or similar engineering factory platforms/tools.
- Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts, IoT, and manufacturing automation.
- Understanding of configuration management and software release processes.
- Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance in software delivery.
- Certifications in relevant technologies or project management (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Scrum Master).
- Experience in mentoring and coaching teams for technical excellence.
- Familiarity with collaboration and issue tracking tools (JIRA, ServiceNOW).
