About your roleAs a Technical Lead for the Accounting Software team, you will drive the team’s technical direction and play a pivotal role in designing and architecting Accounting Software systems. This role involves mentoring team members, solving complex technical challenges, and delivering hands-on contributions as a full-stack leader. You will work closely with engineers and cross-functional partners in product, design, and quality assurance to expand system capabilities. Your leadership will be instrumental in achieving the team’s objectives and advancing our technical vision.
What you’ll doLead design activities for API management and a portfolio of enterprise services
Enhance, build, and deliver enterprise-grade API products in a secure, stable, and scalable way
Partner across multiple business functions and technical areas
Contribute to large-scale, complex projects, and execute development tasks through completion.
Own monitoring, diagnosing, and resolving production issues.
Design and architect complex systems with the team, actively participating in design reviews.
Lead and mentor a team of junior developers, fostering their growth and development.
Ensure high quality in team deliverables through guidance, code reviews, and setting best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional partners (Product, UX, QA) to ensure the team meets project timelines.
Perform code reviews to uphold high quality and standards across codebases.
Provide technical support for stakeholder groups, including Customer Success.
Work closely with QA to maintain software quality and increase automation coverage.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
7 to 10 years of experience building, integration, security, and architecture.
Previous experience of building enterprise-grade API will be a plus.
Previous experience of leading a team will be a plus.
Expertise in object-oriented programming (OOP) with Python as the primary language,
Experience with front end technologies like React, CSS frameworks, HTML and Javascript
Experience with Relational Databases like Postgres, MySQL
Experience with SQL database schema design and query optimization
Experience with Cloud technologies (AWS preferred) and Container technologies (Docker and k8s)
Experience with GraphQL and Apollo Server is a plus but not required
You must be flexible and adaptable—you will be operating in a fast-paced startup environment.
Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code and outputs, including identifying failure modes, regressions, and edge cases introduced by AI-assisted development
Experience building and shipping production-grade software using AI-assisted workflows across the full SDLC
Hands-on experience developing or integrating LLM-powered systems (e.g., agents, copilots, tool-using workflows, or multi-step reasoning systems)
Familiarity with patterns such as tool-calling agents, planning/execution loops, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG)
Demonstrated ability to leverage modern AI tools to improve development velocity, code quality, and problem-solving
Experience contributing to AI-powered features (e.g., intelligent search, conversational interfaces, recommendations, automation)
Working knowledge of LLMs, embeddings, semantic search, and RAG pipelines
Ability to identify and evaluate opportunities to integrate AI capabilities into products and workflows.
