Your Role

The Tech Lead Hardware Design provides strategic technical leadership and expert guidance to the electronic hardware engineering team. Responsible for setting the technical vision, driving innovation, and serving as the primary technical authority across multiple project deliverables, the Tech Lead ensures design excellence and consistency. This role involves mentoring junior engineers, representing the team as a technical ambassador, and partnering with leadership to optimize engineering processes and operational effectiveness.

 

Your future tasks at a glance

  • Architect product technical frameworks and serve as the ultimate escalation point for complex electronic hardware design challenges, ensuring robust and timely resolutions.

  • Champion the development and implementation of electronics modularity, evaluating maturity levels and steering integration into the product roadmap.

  • Deliver high-quality technical contributions to RFQ responses to secure new business through feasible and committed technical solutions.

  • Synchronize electronics technical strategy with cross-functional disciplines, including Systems, Software, and Mechanical engineering, to ensure seamless integration.

  • Act as the central technical anchor for diverse electronic hardware deliverables, upholding rigorous standards for design consistency and engineering quality.

  • Oversee engineering quality and ensure team alignment with strategic technical priorities.

  • Monitor market trends and supplier roadmaps to define the long-term electronics strategy and drive innovation initiatives from concept through to technical feasibility.

  • Develop and refine engineering processes, technical guidelines, and toolsets to enhance the electronics team's efficiency and output.

  • Provide expert technical direction to the electronics team and actively mentor junior engineers to foster professional growth.

    What you bring with you

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 8 years of professional experience in electronic hardware design, with at least 3 years in a technical leadership role.

  • Extensive knowledge of schematic capture, PCB layout, and design for manufacturing (DFM) principles.

  • Experience with developing high voltage systems in accordance with functional safety requirements (ISO26262, IEC61508).

  • Proficiency in simulation tools and testing methodologies for complex electronics systems.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts.

  • Proactive attitude with a passion for mentoring team members and driving technical innovation.

  • Preference for working in teams and strong communication skills (English is mandatory).

Skills Required

  • University degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field
