As a Tech Lead, Engineering at Cyara, you will play a pivotal role in leading and coordinating engineering efforts while also contributing directly to technical projects. You will guide a team of talented engineers, foster collaboration, and drive the successful execution of our product roadmap. You'll support engineers in their development and reviews. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions that exceed customer expectations.
You will be responsible for:
- Team Leadership: Lead and coordinate engineering efforts, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and strategic goals.
- Technical Contribution: Actively contribute to technical projects, providing expertise and driving high-quality outcomes.
- Mentorship and Reviews: Support engineers in their development through mentorship and code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices.
- Collaboration and Communication: Foster collaboration and effective communication within the team and with other departments.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet customer expectations and business requirements.
- Agile Participation: Lead Agile processes, promoting iterative development and continuous improvement.
- Problem Solving and UX Delivery: Address challenging problems to deliver impactful UX solutions quickly, efficiently, and with high quality.
- Scalable Systems Architecture: Contribute to the evolution of systems architecture, ensuring scalability with the growing demands of the business.

- Minimum 8 years of industry experience.
- Advanced, wide-ranging experience using professional concepts and company objectives.
- Applies a deep understanding of the technology stack and development processes to improve overall efficiency and quality.
- Works on complex issues requiring detailed analysis and innovative problem-solving.
- Develops robust solutions that address both immediate and long-term technical challenges.
- Networks with key contacts outside their own area of expertise, collaborates across teams, and facilitates knowledge sharing.
- Encourages a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Good understanding and experience in modern software design/software engineering such as modern web application development (REST API, CI/CD, Docker, Git).
- Advanced programming skills with a willingness to learn new technologies.
- Experience working with the full technology stack, including the following but not limited to:
- Strong JavaScript knowledge with mandatory React experience
- React Projects: Proven experience in creating projects from scratch, maintaining, and extending existing ones using react-app.
- State Management: Strong experience in using React hooks for state management, context providers, refs, and callback functions.
- Typescript: Good command in writing and understanding *.tsx code, configuring and managing ts config files.
- Front-End Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML and CSS; experience with preprocessors would be a plus.
- Styling: Proficiency in dynamic styling and experience building projects with Webpack.
- Material UI Library: Experience with Material UI Library and its API, including the ability to create reusable components.
- Netlify: Experience with Netlify is optional but considered a plus, mainly for the creation and deployment of sites and functions.
- Familiarity with AG-grid and High charts will be an advantage.
- Microservices Architecture: Experience in building scalable applications using microservice architecture.
- Node JS Framework Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Node framework.
- Experience with MongoDB and Influx DB will be an advantage.
- Advantageous to have previous experience in designing and implementing event-driven systems using Apache Kafka.
- Concurrent and Parallel Programming: Solid understanding of concurrency, parallelism, and event-driven architecture.
- Web sockets, WebRTC and Kong service experience.
- Experience with writing unit tests for backend applications.
- Experience with AWS and GCP based cloud platform.
- Skilled in working with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Ability to design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions.
- Familiarity with cloud cost management practices.
- Linux background would be considered advantageous.
- In-depth understanding of web security principles and best practices, complemented by practical experience in implementing advanced security measures.
- Proven track record in designing and executing security strategies to defend against both common and sophisticated threats, including SQL injection, XSS, and CSRF vulnerabilities.
- Skilled in optimizing code, queries, and server configurations to improve performance and scalability.
