Inallmedia is on the lookout for a Technical Lead to join our growing team and contribute to the enhancement and optimization of one of our client’s most critical datasets. This is a remote position, available to candidates across LATAM.
About the Role:
As a Technical Lead, you will take ownership of improving the stability and performance of our client’s data processing platform. Your work will be pivotal in reducing operational costs and integrating new datasets to meet the evolving needs of the project. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and drive the technical direction for large-scale data systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture and development of solutions that enhance the performance, stability, and scalability of the client’s dataset.
- Optimize the system, focusing on reducing costs and improving operational efficiency.
- Integrate new datasets, ensuring data quality and availability for crucial reporting processes.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and engineering teams to solve complex problems and implement new features.
- Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and knowledge sharing.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Solid Experience in Java: Proven expertise in Java, including design patterns, best practices, and performance optimization.
- Apache Spark Expertise: Hands-on experience working with Apache Spark for large-scale data processing.
- AWS EMR Knowledge: Deep familiarity with AWS EMR and related cloud services, with the ability to design and implement scalable solutions.
- Data Engineering Background: Strong experience in managing large datasets, data pipelines, and ETL processes.
- Leadership Skills: Ability to lead teams and drive technical decisions, with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
