Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and certified Optimizely Technical Lead / Architect to join our digital experience team. This role demands a highly skilled CMS expert with a strong understanding of the Optimizely platform, deep implementation experience, and the ability to lead technical delivery. The ideal candidate will drive architecture, guide technical teams, design scalable digital solutions, and ensure successful implementations of Optimizely CMS.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end technical design and implementation of enterprise-grade solutions using Optimizely CMS (SaaS or PaaS).
Architect scalable, secure, and high-performance CMS solutions aligned with digital experience goals.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, Product Owners, and Backend/Frontend Engineers to deliver quality outcomes.
Evaluate client needs, perform technical discovery, and propose effective digital architecture strategies.
Provide technical leadership and mentoring to the development team.
Set up best practices for Optimizely implementation, version control, code quality, and deployment processes.
Stay current on product roadmap, features, and advancements within the Optimizely DXP suite.
Actively contribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and DevOps pipeline planning.
Communicate complex technical solutions in a clear and business-friendly manner to clients and internal stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Optimizely CMS Certification is mandatory (Developer, Architect, or Advanced).
Minimum of 8 years of experience in CMS solutions with at least 5 years of Optimizely hands-on experience.
Proven experience designing and implementing headless CMS, personalization, and A/B testing using the Optimizely suite.
Strong command over .NET Core, C#, MVC, REST APIs, and Optimizely Framework APIs.
Experience with Optimizely SaaS CMS, Commerce, or Content Recommendations is a plus.
Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS) and CI/CD practices.
Excellent communication and presentation skills – capable of interfacing with business and technical stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills – ability to lead technical teams, manage priorities, and deliver within deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to integrating third-party services like CRM, DAM, PIM, and analytics platforms.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as React, Vue, or Next.js is a bonus.
Contributions to the Optimizely community, blogs, or forums are highly appreciated.
