Job Description:
The Workday Integrations leadership role within Digital Technologies (DT) acts as a strategic technology advisor and partner ensures the design, delivery and optimization of Workday integration solutions to enable Mars’ People (People & Organization) strategies across all Mars, Inc. segments.
Scope includes partnering closely with senior stakeholders, and subject matter experts in the Mars Global Services (MGS) organization across HR, Finance and other service lines as well as other global function and business segment application owners to understand business priorities and translating them into technology solutions that drive business value, promote single source of truth and optimize productivity across end-to-end processes. The focus of the role is to leverage Workday and modern technologies to expand our connected ecosystem across the HR Technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with P&0 in shaping the Integration Strategy and Architecture for the HR area, including the deployment of scalable process, integration and automation capabilities aligned with internal and external best practices and emerging trends.
As a Senior member of the DT team for HR technical solutions, role is responsible for defining and applying global technology standards, processes and driving common integration solutions across the enterprise to connect capabilities across the technology ecosystem.
Contribute to the global HR technology strategy to support data integrity, operational efficiency and service excellence leveraging consolidation across segments, standardization and automation drivers
Partner with relevant business segment Functional and Technical Experts, functional Business Partnership Managers to create global IT capabilities which are aligned with the HR and other functional & segment strategies, engaging Business Partnership Managers and utilizing development, deployment and technology hub teams as appropriate.
Identify opportunities to develop and/or deploy new global capabilities and digital experiences through integration projects and enhancements including use of Workday capabilities including Orchestration and Extend
Drive down the portfolio complexity and TCO within this specific functional area across all global, regional and local applications.
Manages a global team of associates and contractors to lead design, development, testing and deployment of integrations to ensure data accuracy and efficiency.
Contribute to the development of the cross-functional application portfolio strategy that builds increasing value through modern digital capabilities, scale efficiencies and automation.
Job Qualifications:
Masters/Engineering degree in IT, Business or relevant business function (e.g. Human Resources) or equivalent
5-8 years’ experience in the HR functional area with specific Workday Integration deployment leadership
Solutions Architecture, Applications portfolio management
Global line management & people development, HR Operations /Managed Services experience
Budget Management and Project Management for large global projects
Stakeholder Relationship Management of functional experts and application owners
Excellent project management skills, able to partner with 3rd party consultants and handle multiple projects, deadlines and escalations.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
