Project Summary
We are seeking a Senior Technical Expert to support the installation, configuration, and integration of a COTS software product across test and production environments. This role requires broad technical experience across networking, compute, identity, and system integration, with hands‑on involvement throughout deployment and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate works well across diverse teams and can operate independently to ensure systems are fully operational and compliant.
Key Responsibilities
Install, configure, and validate the COTS software product in test and production environments.
Coordinate integration activities with networking, server/VM, identity, and application teams.
Evaluate system requirements, dependencies, and integration points for readiness and compatibility.
Support networking, compute, database, identity, and API‑based integration activities.
Develop and maintain technical documentation, including installation guides and configuration baselines.
Assist with documentation for system accreditation, compliance, and security assessments.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues throughout testing and deployment phases.
Communicate status, risks, and technical considerations to stakeholders and leadership.
Required For This Opportunity
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 8 years of relevant technical experience.
Broad experience across networking, servers/virtualization, identity management, and system integration.
Strong understanding of ports, protocols, firewalls, and network connectivity troubleshooting.
Experience with Windows and/or Linux server environments and VM platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V).
Hands‑on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and relational database concepts.
Working knowledge of authentication and identity services, including Microsoft Entra ID.
Familiarity with APIs, RESTful services, and integration concepts (Microsoft Graph preferred).
Active Top Secret clearance required.
Nice to Have Skills
Experience supporting COTS product deployments in government environments.
Familiarity with NIST RMF, FedRAMP, or similar accreditation frameworks.
Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python, etc.) for automation or integration.
