We are searching for our talent pool Technical Experts Level 3 for our Autostore business unit in the DACH region.
Planned hiring is in Q2 2026.
The Technical Expert is highly motivated to work in a startup environment and is open for a wide range of tasks to support the growth of the overall team.
He will participate and support in specification phases, improve Kardex processes and templates, participate in defining strategies for realization, do the commissioning of IT systems/hardware and the AutoStore und support the Project Manager during the installation.
The Technical Expert as technician supports the AutoStore systems at the customer's site if needed. He configures the individual components and supervises the initial storage of the containers. He trains the service personnel as well as the customer's operators. He is available to the customer or the service people if support is needed.
Your tasks
Provide 3rd‑level technical support for local service technicians on AutoStore systems, both on site and remotely, including troubleshooting and fault resolution.
Train local technicians in maintenance, software updates, troubleshooting methods, and effective use of the AS‑CRM, while maintaining and updating training manuals.
Support the installation, commissioning, configuration, and testing of AutoStore systems to ensure on‑time, to‑specification project delivery.
Conduct go‑live activities, performance and acceptance tests, and deliver customer training for operators and service personnel.
Assist customers and service teams in analysing and resolving system malfunctions, while ensuring a clean, safe work environment and supporting the start‑up of the new organisation.
Your profile
Completed training in an electrotechnical profession (e.g., electrician, mechatronics technician), with knowledge of safety regulations would be preferred; AutoStore/PLC experience are advantageous.
Profund professional experience in site or project management of automation systems, with a track record of successfully delivered projects.
Strong communication skills with fluent English and solid language skills in German as well as the ability to work effectively in construction‑like project environments.
Competence in using AutoCAD, MS Office and similar software tools to support technical and project-related tasks.
Willingness to travel as required for project and customer support activities across mainly the DACH region and from time to time EMEA
