Key responsibilities include:
- Review and prepare technical drawings to ensure readiness for execution.
- Manage and follow up on RFIs with consultants to resolve design queries efficiently.
- Coordinate between architectural, civil, and MEP disciplines for integrated project delivery.
- Support site teams by resolving technical issues promptly and minimizing project delays.
- Ensure compliance with project requirements and standards through diligent drawing reviews.
- Facilitate communication between design consultants, contractors, and site teams to address technical challenges.
RequirementsRequired Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience as a technical engineer in construction projects
- Experience reviewing and coordinating multidisciplinary drawings (Architectural, Civil, MEP)
- Experience managing and closing RFIs with design consultants
- Experience reviewing shop drawings for construction execution
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Project
- Basic-to-intermediate BIM coordination experience, including reviewing models to identify clashes
- Professional working proficiency in Arabic and English
- Hands-on clash detection using Navisworks
- Experience working on residential building construction projects
- Experience coordinating with design consultants, contractors, and site teams to resolve technical and drawing-related issues
