The Technical Enablement team

Our Technical Enablement Team, which partners with our product enablement team in the Global Enablement organization, is evolving, growing, and focused on creating impactful enablement programs to support our Presales Teams. We are focused on driving alignment of people, process and priorities with relevant learning, coaching and communication delivered to the right roles at the right time to help Okta achieve revenue and growth goals


The Technical Enablement Manager, Presales (Auth0 Product) opportunity

Reporting to the Director of Technical Enablement, the Technical Enablement Manager, Presales (Auth0 Product) plays an important role in achieving these goals. You will be responsible for building, managing and executing technical enablement programs that should enhance the knowledge and skills of our presales organization. The ideal candidate is a high energy, collaborative, data-driven customer identity and access management expert with presales experience that is willing to help drive and build a world class technical enablement program in a fast-paced, dynamic environment


*This role requires in-person onboarding and travel to our San Francisco, CA HQ office during the first week of employment. (US) 


What you'll be doing 

  • Be the technical lead for our existing, new, and emerging customer identity products and technologies to create compelling enablement programs for the presales organization 
  • Proactively identify, prioritize and develop scalable enablement programs that empower SEs to effectively communicate the value of our customer identity solutions 
  • Develop and lead engaging, role-specific training sessions (in-person and virtual) that enhance SE capabilities in technical discovery, solution positioning, and value demonstration for customer identity products
  • Partner with SMEs, Field CTOs and cross-functional teams to lead, create and deliver enablement content that highlights SE-relevant applications of customer identity solutions in customer scenarios
  • Develop high-quality technical resources-such as solution briefs, value-driven presentations, hands-on labs, and demos-tailored to presales use cases and customer conversations
  • Define and track metrics and KPIs, focusing on outcomes such as SE productivity, technical win rate, and revenue impact that align with leadership priorities
  • Support onboarding initiatives that equip new SEs with essential tools, technical knowledge, and methodologies to deliver impactful customer engagements as it relates to customer identity
  • Actively participate in launch efforts, translating technical product updates into compelling SE training and customer engagement strategies
  • Work cross-functionally to promote collaboration between internal teams


What you'll bring to the role & what we're looking for

  • Proven ability and demonstrated success in developing and managing multiple Presales focused Customer Identity programs simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to work with diverse teams, communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and build relationships across organizational levels with diplomacy and influence
  • Ability to drive cross-functional initiatives, secure stakeholder alignment, and deliver results that support SE teams in achieving customer outcomes, even in fast-paced and ambiguous environments
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage complex technical projects, adapt to new technologies, and deliver enablement initiatives with measurable impact
  • Comprehensive Customer Identity experience and competitive landscape knowledge
  • Ability to assess customer challenges, develop creative technical solutions, and guide SE teams in addressing technical and business needs
  • Excellent critical thinking and great at problem solving (finding solutions)
  • Must be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment; tolerance for ambiguity and the ability to "just get it done"
  • BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
  • Moderate travel
  • 5-7 years in a technical presales role with prospect, customer experience
  • 4+ years experience with Auth0 solutions

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:

$114,000-$172,000 USD
