Overview: 
As a PTC Technical Enablement Certification Lead, your main role is to lead exam development across all PTC priority products. You will use both leadership and collaboration skills to work cross-functionally with subject matter experts to drive the technical certification strategy at PTC. In this role, you will leverage your strong project management and relationship building skills. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of industry best practices in technical certification, can promote the benefits of certification, and be a champion for PTC enablement. Understanding psychometric analysis is an asset. Other responsibilities include working with operations, leadership, and certification vendors. 

 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Contribute to program definition and execute it to deliver a professional certification program 
  • Document all certification processes and best practices 
  • Analyze partner and employee certification requirements and build/maintain detailed roadmaps 
  • Report and analyze certification key performance indicators and work with operations for metrics and reporting 
  • Influence and build consensus while leading group discussions 
  • Communicate and present to leadership 
  • Manage relationship with vendors 
  • Stay up to date with content development activities and plans 
  • Create awareness and evangelize the benefits of professional certification 
  • Build expertise in PTC’s product family 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience 

  • 5+ years’ managing a technical certification program for an enterprise organization 

  • Experience developing content and collateral for psychometric certification programs 

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously. 

  • Hands-on experience leading exam creation activities 

  • Strong team player with interpersonal and coordination skills 

  • Can manage programs end to end 

  • Ability to explain complex topics in simple, understandable language 

  • Ability to engage SMEs and lead effective meetings 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

  • Excellent work and time management skills 

  • Ability to follow processes in the pursuit of operational excellence 

  • Ability to proactively identify problems and propose solutions

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between $120,000 - $160,000. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location and may also include the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus. Additionally, every PTC employee has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase discounted PTC stock and, for eligible roles, an equity grant. Subject to the terms and conditions of PTC’s benefits programs, employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave policies, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and a generous commuter subsidy.
