What we are looking for:
A technical writer to join the training and documentation team, working from our office in Mumbai.
What you’ll do:
- Interfacing with subject matter experts in different departments across the company to gather information about new products and features
- Taking full ownership of user guides with responsibility for writing, editing, and implementing feedback
- Proof-reading and editing documents written by other departments
What you should have:
- At least 2 years’ technical writing experience
- Excellent written English (mother tongue level)
- Hands-on experience in Paligo, including managing and working with open branches.(MUST)
- An engineering background with theoretical and practical experience in IP networking and hands-on Linux proficiency
- Mastery of Microsoft Word, and familiarity with other commonly used Technical Writing tools
- High attention to detail
- The ability to communicate effectively with subject matter experts from different teams and countries
- Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines and manage one’s own time according to priorities set by the department manager
- Ability to focus on what matters – identifying and conveying key content from within large amounts of complex technical information
What would be great if you have:
- Experience with photo editing tools (e.g.: photoshop, illustrator)
- Good understanding of current trends and methods in the tech writing sphere
- Familiarity with the world of cybersecurity
