The Technical Project Leader (TPL) develops technical training programs and service documentation for GE HealthCare’s Multi Vendor (MV) service portfolio across all imaging modalities (CT, MR, NM, PET, UL, XR). Technical Project Leader – Multi‑Vendor Operations (Training & Technical Documentation)
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
- Develop multi‑vendor technical training programs, hyperlinked service manuals (ePSTs), and other supporting documentation.
- Partner with the Capability Program Manager to scope work, build project plans, and meet delivery timelines.
- Collaborate with technical Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to produce clear, accurate, high‑quality technical content.
- Review, edit, and modernize existing documentation to meet current technical and audience requirements.
- Create, convert, and maintain documents in Adobe FrameMaker and Adobe PDF, ensuring proper structure and linkage.
- Capture and edit digital media (photos, video) and incorporate it into training and documentation.
- Produce flowcharts, logic diagrams, simple line art, and screen captures for use in technical packages.
- Provide support to field directors, Installed Base teams, and engineering partners as needed.
Required Experience:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in technical documentation or training development, including hands‑on experience with Adobe FrameMaker.
- Experience working with and developing content for content management systems (HTML/XML) such as Astoria or Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).
- Experience supporting and creating training/documentation for field service, installed base, or technical operations teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, organization, and multi‑tasking abilities.
- Experience working within ISO quality management guidelines.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous GE HealthCare or healthcare technology experience.
- Strong product knowledge of medical imaging equipment or complex electro‑mechanical systems. Modality experience (CT, MR, NM, PET, UL, XR) strongly preferred.
- Master’s degree in Adult Education, Business, Clinical/Medical field, or related discipline.
- Certifications in instructional design, project management, and/or technical communication.
- Management, program, or project leadership experience.
- Candidate ideally located in Wisconsin or within reasonable commute to Milwaukee.
