Our ANZ Pavement team is looking to recruit an experienced and highly skilled Technical Director to join our Melbourne office. In this role, you will drive delivery of pavement projects for our Australian and New Zealand teams. The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a proven track record in technical excellence and innovation in pavement engineering across a range of complex infrastructure projects.  As a valued member of the Pavements team, opportunities will exist to be involved in a project from the earliest stages of planning, design, and all the way through to construction phase services.

How you’ll make a difference

• Drive technical excellence across our ANZ Pavement portfolio.  
• Manage, inspire and lead our Melbourne and ANZ Pavement Teams. 
• Develop business growth opportunities with AECOM’s Clients and construction partners. 
• Participate in the development and execution of our ANZ Pavement business strategy.

The qualities that help you thrivents

• A degree in Civil Engineering, or similar and 20+ years’ experience in pavement engineering
• Experience in interpreting, organising, executing and coordinating the capture and delivery of major projects.
• Experience in project delivery, leadership, design management, interface with clients and design teams, and client relationship management, with strong communication skills and an ability to positive influence those around you.  
• Comprehensive knowledge of standards and guidelines from different organizations and authorities across ANZ.
