Summary of the role

Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide application support and expert advice on dispensing, coating, and selective soldering processes to distributors and customers.
- Understand customer requirements and develop tailored process recipes to meet their specific dispensing/coating/selective soldering needs.
- Conduct equipment and application demonstrations in the applications lab and generate comprehensive application reports to support both pre-sales and post-sales activities.
- Communicate professionally with customers to identify application challenges and recommend appropriate dispensing/coating/selective soldering equipment solutions.
- Deliver training sessions on dispensing, coating, and selective soldering processes, both in-house and on-site at customer facilities.
- Perform on-site equipment installation, validation, and commissioning to ensure successful setup and operation.
- Provide on-site troubleshooting, servicing, and repairs for dispensing, coating, and selective soldering equipment as needed.
Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably in Electrical/Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.
- 1–5 years of experience in the electronics industry; experience or knowledge in dispensing or coating processes is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with dispensing, coating, or selective soldering equipment is highly valued.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to see the big picture.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Able to maintain a professional demeanor under pressure.
- A strong team player who proactively utilizes internal resources to achieve objectives.
Travel
- Domestic: 80%
- International: 20%
