Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for applications and service in Singapore, providing expert applications advice as well as technical service support to our distributors and customers
- Understand customers' applications requirements, develop suitable solutions, and make appropriate recommendations to achieve their desired outcomes
- Conduct applications and equipment demonstrations on-site and in the applications lab. Generating applications reports in support of pre and post sales activities.
- Interface with customers in a professional manner to understand their applications issues and make appropriate equipment recommendations to fulfil their needs
- Conduct applications training both in-house and on-site at customer locations
- Support the set-up, inspection, and testing of new equipment at customer locations to ensure proper installation.
- Provide technical support, training, and advice to distributors / customers on use and maintenance of equipment
- Establish preventative maintenance schedules with customer.
- Other duties as required by management, including travel and support outside own region
Education and Experience Requirements
- Minimum Diploma of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical or Materials Engineering
- 2 - 3 years experience in the electronics manufacturing or Semiconductor fab environment or supplier experience as a process or equipment engineer preferred
- Confident communicator - work closely with high level customers and present to large audiences
- Ability to work independently and remotely
- Team player who is unafraid to proactively draw on various resources in the organisation to achieve objectives
- Analytical mind and ability to consider the big picture.

- Aptitude for mechanical, chemical, electronic and software technology
- Analytical and detail oriented

- Able to travel and work in Taiwan
