Excis is a leading global IT support company, driven by technical excellence and customer success. We’re seeking a skilled Technical Coordinator to oversee and support our global IT field service operations, ensuring seamless coordination of technical tasks and superior service delivery.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist Dispatch: Evaluate technical requirements, assign suitable engineers for onsite and remote jobs, manage ticket lifecycles, and track progress to ensure timely resolution
- Support Engineers: Serve as the primary point of contact during job execution, provide remote assistance via collaboration tools (Zoom, Teams, WebEx), troubleshoot technical issues in real-time, and coordinate with specialists for escalations.
- Guide Customers: Clarify technical issues and manage expectations, conduct technical vetting and interviews with HR, facilitate technical training and knowledge transfer, and maintain accurate documentation of technical requirements and job readiness.
What You Need:
- 5+ years of experience in technical coordination, IT support, or service desk management with exposure to field service operations and remote technical support.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including servers, networks, and operating systems (Windows, MacOS, Linux).
- Hands-on experience with remote troubleshooting tools, ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, ManageEngine, or Jira, and familiarity with ITIL practices (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
- Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills with proven capability in technical vetting, resource allocation, and vendor/multi-vendor coordination.
- Proficiency in technical writing, documentation, and use of remote collaboration platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred; ITIL Foundation and vendor certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) are advantageous.
