Responsibilities/Objectives
- Work with project managers and business consultants to translate customer requirements into practical solutions.
- Create mappings and analyze data for use in data conversion.
- Create data maps, write ETL conversion scripts, validate migrated data, and help identify and resolve issues.
- Communicate with both the client's technical team and business owners as needed during design and implementation.
Requirements
(MUST)
- BS/BA / Computer Science or related field
- Able to create SQL queries, stored procedures, views, etc. with a thorough understanding of relational database design
(Experience coding SQL with over 300 lines, experience with jointing and aggregating multiple tables. Proficiency in writing transformation scripts using OUTER APPLY, STRING_AGG, and complex CASE statements.)
- Business level English
(Able to learn from English videos, translate and communicate customer requirements with Global TC, and communicate technically in English)
- Japanese to the extent that one can discuss complex issues with customers and read and write patent terminology
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and time management skills
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
- Strong client management skills
- Experience with requirements gathering
- 5+ years people management experience for Associate Director
- Experience in the implementation, configuration, customization, or development of business software such as ERP, CRM, accounting systems, and attendance management systems (from the perspective of an engineer or implementation specialist).
- Quality Control: Commitment to ensuring migration quality by creating Q&Q reports and checklists.
- Design Ability: Ability to organize client requirements into accurate specifications like Value Mapping Sheets.

- Ability to use reporting tools such as SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS), Sisense, and PowerBI
- ETL experience
- Experience with K2View
- Proficient SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS, C#
- Experience with Visual Studio as a development and testing tool
- Knowledge of system integration and the system development lifecycle
- Experience with automated testing tools

- IP Knowledge: Ability to understand Japanese IP terminology and engage in practical discussions with IP departments.
