A Day in the LifeWe are looking for an enthusiastic Technical Consultant to provide in-OR support, facilitating technology adoption and helping clinicians maximize the full potential of Medtronic’s products during procedures. In this role, you will collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders, building strong and lasting relationships based on expertise and trust. Your ability to guide and support clinicians will play a key role in enhancing therapy adoption and driving successful patient outcomes through partnership projects.The Cardiac Ablation Solutions (CAS) Operating Unit develops life-restoring technologies for treating cardiac arrhythmias. We offer advanced cardiac mapping and ablation solutions designed to help clinicians diagnose and treat abnormal heart rhythms with precision. Our vision is to improve patient care worldwide by driving innovation in the diagnosis and ablation of cardiac arrhythmias, enabling clinicians to achieve superior procedural outcomes.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
• Plan and implement support activities in coordination with customers, providing clinical and technical expertise through case support, product demonstrations, installations, and maintenance of company products.
• Serve as the CAS map/navigation expert, training new mappers and acting as an ambassador for clinical and technical data at congresses and customer meetings.
• Develop a strong clinical knowledge base to engage in meaningful scientific discussions and identify opportunities.
• Provide technical data and support to sales teams for product demonstrations.
• Conduct on-site education and consulting, fostering strong relationships with healthcare professionals and organizations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of activities in CRM tools (e.g., SFDC Lightning, ServiceMax).
• Be prepared to troubleshoot first-line issues on the CAS map/navigation system or relay relevant information to the technical department.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Degree in Engineering, Life Sciences, Biology, or a relevant advanced qualification.
- Good English level.
- Strong technical understanding and the ability to communicate complex clinical concepts clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tasks independently while also supporting broader team initiatives.
- Strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively in a professional, high-pressure environment.
- Flexibility to accommodate varied work schedules, including occasional weekend work and a willingness to travel as required for the role.
