We are looking to hire a Technical Consultant to join our growing Implementation and Support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1st, 2nd, and some 3rd line technical support across our entire customer base.

Role Summary
The technical consultant role is a pivotal role that will see you address and resolve technical issues, ensure system configurations meet client requirements, and deliver a high level of customer service. Your expertise will be crucial in troubleshooting problems, guiding clients through technical challenges, and ensuring smooth system operations.
What You’ll be doing:

Providing technical support for the Lenvi Riskfactor applications for all existing customers, including remote meeting, email and telephone support, and (occasionally) site visits.

Working within customers’ Service Level Agreements; satisfying predefined response times, resolution times, and escalation paths.

Logging and tracking all Support Cases using Jira helpdesk.

Creating, testing and delivering hotfix and minor technical changes to customers, often working within customers’ own strictly defined change control processes.

Basic technical consultancy and troubleshooting, including data analysis, data integrity checking, and system performance analysis.

Customising and configuring the Lenvi Riskfactor product to meet clients’ requirements.

Carrying out system, function and regression testing, using manual and automated test scripts.

Identifying and logging defects via a defect tracking system (Jira, Confluence and Microsoft Team Foundation Server).

Creating detailed test plans, execute test scripts and document results.
What we’d like to see from your application:
-
Recent experience using Microsoft SQL Server (2014 and later), and Transact-SQL (T-SQL).

Proficiency in T-SQL, with demonstrable ability to write complex queries using joins, aggregate functions, etc.

Experience in managing and configuring Windows Server (2012 and later).

Good analytical and problem-solving skills. A logical, methodical approach to problem solving is essential.

Exposure to Microsoft IIS, version 8, and above.

Experience of supporting software within a Windows networked environment, including Active Directory, Group Policy and relevant security and encryption technologies such as SSL / TLS.

Desirable to have experience with creating and debugging PowerShell scripts.

Desirable to have experience with Azure DevOps, including deployment Pipelines.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident, professional attitude.

Proven ability to meet deadlines and work within defined SLAs.

Experience of supporting production systems, complying with structured change-control procedures, and handling customer-sensitive (financial) data.

Prepared to occasionally travel both in the UK and less occasionally abroad.

Must be able to work proactively as part of a small team.
