The Role
Implement and configure WMS (Blue Yonder/JDA) solutions, conduct functional analysis, integrate WMS with ERP/TMS/ASRS/voice/material handling systems, perform testing, troubleshooting, performance tuning, knowledge transfer, and support post-go-live to ensure customer value realization.

What you’ll do:

  • Serves as a techncial liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, Solution Architects, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors
  • Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team
  • Communicates business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements
  • Interacts with Product Management Group & Product Development Team regarding new releases and new functionality and act as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team
  • Work with Operate team to make Customer Stable post go-live and venture towards value realization.
  • Conducts functional analysis sessions with clients and/or the project team to understand the functional needs of the client and develops functional solutions to meet those needs.
  • Provide variety of functional support to the project team; including quality assurance/design review, environment setup, software installation, configuration, report and label generation, operation consulting, troubleshooting, system testing & programming.
  • Responsible for services delivery of product implementation and related integration.
  • Works as a senior member of a consulting team on product implementation, enhancement, managed services, integration, custom projects either at the customer site or offshore.

What we are looking for:

  • 3-8 Years of corporate experience
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline.
  • Expertise in functional configuration of WMS product, Technical Integration, Quality Assurance, System Testing and Performance Tuning.
  • Hands-on Experience on Technical configuration of WMS product (preferably JDA/RedPrairie WMS).
  • Knowledge on interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, 3rd party system that integrates with WMS.
  • Knowledge on integration between WMS and Voice / Material Handling / ASRS systems
  • In depth knowledge of resolving issues through Trace files.
  • Ability to resolve complex problems with minimal guidance.
  • Excellent computer skills with in-depth knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, Integration and Middleware technologies and applications
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners and consultants
  • Strong proactive communicator and presenter, able to influence and collaborate at all levels of an organization to maximize problem resolution while effectively presenting information and responding to highly specialized functional questions
  • Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently effectively and proactively

  • Knowledge in performance tuning techniques is added advantage.
  • Provides guidance to Support Services in responding to base functional issues.
  • Understanding and experience with the functional requirements for the product line assigned.
  • Understanding of Database structures. Understanding of various functional platforms and infrastructures.
  • Understands Blue Yonder product suite so as to convey relationships and touch-points to the customer.
  • Works with appropriate parties to ensure issues are resolved.
  • Travel readiness based on business needs.
