Key Focus Areas:

  • Customer Implementation & Support: Providing functional and technical support during customer upgrades, deployments, and rollouts, and maintaining positive relationships by resolving conflicts and managing expectations.

    Essential Requirements (Experience & Technical Stack):
  • Experience: 6+ years in the Software/SaaS industry, 3+ years in the supply chain domain, and experience with customer support in Supply Chain software.
  • Mandatory Technical Skills: Expert knowledge of database programming using Oracle SQL/MS SQL, operating systems (UNIX, Windows), programming (e.g., C#, ASP.Net), and scripting languages (Unix Shell, Python, Perl, etc.).
  • Domain Preference: Ideal candidates will have technical/demonstrable experience with Blue Yonder Planning Suite solutions, specifically SCPO (ESP, Demand, Fulfillment, Promotions, Inventory Optimization, etc.).

  • Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform and the product teams.

Our current technical environment:

  • OS – Unix, Windows 2008R2 and above.
  • Supply chain products: SCPO (Demand & FF, ESP, Promotions, IO, S&OP)
  • RDBMS – Oracle 11g and above and SQL/PLSQL 2012 and above, Snowflake
  • BA tools – Cognos.
  • SaaS Platform – Azure, Parallel Client
  • Interface: SFTP, AS2, DMS, Blue Yonder connect
  • Scripting – Perl, Shell, Python is desirable.
  • Scheduling tools knowledge – Control-M is preferred

Software/Tools: 

  • MS SQL Server, Visual Code, Visual Studio, Jira, GIT, AI tools(Co-Pilot, Cursor, Claude etc), Confluence.

What you’ll do:

  • Provide functional and/or technical support during customer upgrades, deployments, rollouts, and post-production phases.
  • For developing modification the candidate should be able to drive end to end by having requirement understanding discussion, functional and technical design document creation, developing high quality code using coding best practices, unit testing, packaging code and deployment.
  • Maintain positive customer relationships by resolving conflicts and issues, managing expectations, and instilling confidence in Blue Yonder Planning Solution Operate Team
  • Provide advice to Blue Yonder partners and customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology as well as reviewing their code.
  • Document learnings and creating knowledge articles for repeated cases.
  • Bring in new ideas for automation, reusable items and service improvements.
  • Understand the SaaS offering, features and functionality deployed for a given customer.
  • Work closely with the Blue Yonder Planning SCPO Solution Experts for complex issue resolution including Product Development.
  • Continuous learning on latest Blue Yonder Planning Solutions.

What we are looking for:

  • Industry experience:
  • 6+ years of experience in the Software/SaaS industry
  • 3+ years of Supply chain Planning (SCPO)
  • Supply chain Experience with customer/client support in Supply Chain software.
  • Ideal candidate will have experience working with Blue Yonder products, specifically Supply Chain Planning solutions.
  • Technical/Demonstrable experience with Blue Yonder suite of solutions preferred specifically, ESP (Enterprise Supply Planning), Demand, Fulfilment, Promotions, Inventory Optimization, SCPO Platform is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Mandatory:

  • Expert in Database programming using Oracle SQL and/or MS SQL
  • Good knowledge of operating systems (e.g. Windows, Unix).
  • Good Knowledge Programming language (C#, ASP.Net)
  • Experience in scripting languages – Unix Shell Scripting, PowerShell, Python, Perl etc.

Preferred:

  • Cloud (Azure preferred), Log analysis and networking tools
  • Good knowledge of middleware (i.e. Weblogic, TomCat)
  • Good knowledge of Software Integration (ex: API and integration troubleshooting)
  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Understanding of AI/ML and related tools in the market.

Optional:

  • Experience with log analytic tools (Eg. APP D and Splunk)
  • Basic understanding of job schedulers (Eg. Control-M, Autosys)

Soft Skills:
