The Bosch unit in Ovar belongs to the Building Technologies division and is focused on bringing solutions to the market that are shaping the smart cities of the future. The company develops and produces innovative solutions for security and communication systems, fire alarms and electronic displays.

Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

  • Create and maintain technical documentation for security products, software and services, in English, according to internal and external standards;
  • Manage localization and proofreading processes;
  • Manage review and approval of hardware and software documentation by the relevant stakeholders;
  • Prepare multichannel publishing of technical documentation;
  • Improve processes in software documentation and tools;
  • Support development and delivery of smart information.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

  • Degree, preferably in Technical Communication or Language Sciences, or Engineering degree with experience in technical communication;

  • Experience in technical documents writing for hardware and/or software products, preferably on application programming interface (API) writing;

  • Strong writing skills in English, with proven, advanced skills in grammar and proofreading;

  • Knowledge in project management of software documentation, and programming languages;

  • Experience working directly and communicating with engineers and other subject matter experts, in an agile environment;

  • Experience with content management systems, preferably Schema ST4, and/or authoring tools;

  • Experience with translation management tools, preferably Passolo;

  • Experience in and/or relevant understanding of metadata management and implementation.
