The Role

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Technical Business Services Assistant for the Payment Management Center (PMC) department as part of ATM Strategy & Vendor Solutions. Learn more about the career areas and business divisions at wellsfargojobs.com.

This role supports many internal and external customers, resolves issues, and monitors various virtual systems. Primary responsibilities are monitoring ECLS, VMIC, NMIC, DE and EC applications ensuring all automated tasks are successfully completed, manually triggering non-automated batch jobs, reviewing higher dollar items for accuracy and escalating problems via phone, e-mail, and MS Teams. All duties are extremely time sensitive. The PMC department has a medium sized team across multiple sites requiring constant clear communication and teamwork to be successful.

In this role, you will:

  • Support the technology team in providing solutions to the internal partners and external customers for moderately complex technical concerns in their respective functional area
  • Be responsible for recording inquiries, as well as repair and service requests
  • Track service request status and follow up with the client to ensure client satisfaction
  • Perform moderately complex operational and customer support tasks related to technological issues
  • Receive direction from supervisor and escalate questions and issues to more experienced individuals
  • Interact with immediate team and Technology Business Services functional area on information related to routine tasks and client inquiries
  • Interact with internal and external customers regarding any technical issues in their processes and resolution provided

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of Information Technology in support of Business Services experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education

  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge and understanding of departmental workflow processes.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills.
  • Knowledge of Technical Service Support.
  • Knowledge of Operations and Check Processing.
  • Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment to identify and resolve problems.
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and prioritizing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • 1+ year experience escalating system related issues.
  • Must be able to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to handle inbound and outbound calls

Job Expectations:

  • Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday 2:00am - 10:30am CT.
  • Flexible - Schedule may be required to work additional hours prior to or after regular work schedule and occasional Sunday and Holidays.
  • Cover multiple applications simultaneously when required.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.

$18.46 - $27.69
