You will be part of our team of application specialists in the demo center in Waldbronn. In this department, the sales process of our analytical instruments is supported by developing, optimizing and demonstrating methods and solutions for customer applications according to their market situation.
Your responsibility will include:
- Preparation of analytical instruments for guests and application specialists in the demo laboratory, Waldbronn.
- Support of the application specialists with lab specific tasks like sample- and solvent preparation.
- Perform your own measurements, analyzes, and interpret data obtained with LC, GC, LCMS and GCMS instruments.
- Maintenance of LC, GC, LCMS and GCMS systems.
- Inventory control of our demo devices in cooperation with the Agilent demo coordination team.
- Organization of service calls to maintain, repair and install/uninstall demo devices.
- Ordering chemicals and consumables and controlling their inventory.
- Maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment as well as ensuring a well-maintained demo laborator
You are best suited for this position with the following qualifications:
- Profession as BTA, MTA, CTA or similar/higher degree.
- Practical experience (3+ years) with analytical instruments (LC, GC, LCMS and GCMS), ideally from Agilent is required
- Experience in dealing with chemicals and standard laboratory equipment, e.g. pH meters, pipettes, balances etc.
- Experience with most common software tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint is required
- Team Player
- Good organizational skills
- Excellent time management
- Good communication skills
- Knowledge of German and English required (spoken and written).
