We're looking for a passionate and talented Technical Artist Intern to help support the creative process behind our games. In this role, you'll work closely with the specialist responsible for empowering artists through technical tools and solutions. In this role you will:
- Support art pipelines and tools.
- Profile and optimize art assets for performance.
- Find ways to automate tasks and improve processes to streamline production.
- Participate in technical documentation and best practices for the art pipeline.
- Develop a set of best practices, solutions, and tools to solve problems and make the art pipeline more fluid.
- Collaborate closely with other technical artists.
What we're looking for:
- Currently enrolled in a Creative Media, Game Technology, or related program.
- A strong artistic eye and appreciation for visual quality.
- Experience with Maya and/or Blender.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- A natural curiosity for programming, scripting, and technical problem-solving.
- Familiarity with Unreal Engine is a definite plus.
Skills Required
