The Role
The Technical Architect is responsible for designing and implementing robust IT systems that align with the company’s strategic goals. This role involves leading technical designs, ensuring the integration of new technologies, and maintaining high standards of system performance and security. A qualified candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
What You’ll Do
• Develop and maintain the technical architecture for IT systems.
• Paticipate on the implementation of Products, ensuring they meet design specifications.
• Integrate new systems with existing infrastructure seamlessly.
• Provide technical guidance to operational and development teams.
• Conduct technical designs reviews and ensure adherence to best practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and communicate technical solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies.
• Create technical architecture drawings that provide a link between platform requirements and hosting requirements.
• Extend C4 Application Architecture diagrams to show how applications map onto the technology platform.
• Develop diagrams for environments locations (On Premise, Cloud, Private Hosting, etc.), platform decomposition, processing (data flow), communications engineering (network devices like firewalls, load balancers, etc.).
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or relevant industry experience.
• Knowledge applying Reverse Engineering
• 5 years of experience in technical architecture or a related role.
• Proficiency in system architecture and design.
• Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Experience with virtualization, monitoring, network, storage and backup technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.
