As a Technical Architect at Penrod, you will be the definitive owner of our solution's technical success and a trusted partner in our clients' digital transformation journey. You will shape the architectural vision for complex Salesforce implementations, ensuring solutions are robust, scalable, and secure. This strategic role blends deep technical expertise with strong leadership to guide teams, influence decision-making, and maintain the highest standards of technical quality.
What you will do
- Own the technical solution strategy: Define the architectural vision for projects, making key technical decisions around data models, integration patterns, security, and non-functional requirements.
- Advise and collaborate: Serve as a trusted advisor to Lead Consultants and Project Managers, offering strategic direction and guidance to navigate complex integrations and technical challenges.
- Lead and mentor teams: Provide technical oversight to development teams (onshore and nearshore), reviewing and approving designs from specialists (e.g., Data Cloud, Health Cloud, MuleSoft, AI/automation) and ensuring alignment with the overall architecture.
- Manage technical risks: Identify, escalate, and mitigate technical risks and blockers. You have the authority to pause development or escalate issues when non-functional requirements are at risk, always providing impact analyses and recommended solutions.
- Maintain the technology roadmap: Partner with clients to identify emerging technologies, recommend new tools, and propose long-term scalability options to keep solutions at the forefront of industry standards.
- Final sign-off: Provide final approval on all technical designs, architecture trade-offs, and deviation requests to ensure decisions support the project’s long-term health.
- Technical oversight: Act as the ultimate guardian of the project’s technical quality, with the authority to pause development when necessary.
What we look for
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar role within Salesforce ecosystem (Sales, Service, Health Cloud, or related platforms).
- Deep understanding of Salesforce architecture, data modeling, and integration patterns.
- Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience guiding development teams and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing risks.
- Experience with healthcare, life sciences, or regulated industries (preferred but not required).
