Job Overview:
Quantiphi seeks an Infrastructure Migration Specialist and Solution Architect to spearhead our Platform Engineering initiatives. In this role, you will be crucial to delivering sophisticated solutions to our clients, covering Application Development, Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, Analytics, and Machine Learning. A key component of this position is specialized experience migrating workloads from on-premise data centers to the AWS cloud (Rehost and Replatform Migration), thereby empowering clients to maximize the benefits of cloud infrastructure.
What you will do:
- Serve as an Infrastructure Migration Specialist and Solution Architect, specializing in migrating workloads from on-premise data centers to the AWS cloud (Rehost and Replatform Migration).
- Spearhead Platform Engineering initiatives, focusing on large-scale Lift and Shift (REHOST) and REPLATFORM migrations targeting AWS EC2 instance-based architectures.
- Plan and execute migration tasks using AWS services (Migration Hub, MGN, SMS, DMS) and migration tools such as CloudEndure and Double-Take.
- Conduct portfolio assessment and use tools like AWS Migration Evaluator to analyze and define optimal migration strategies.
- Troubleshoot Windows or Linux OS and Database server issues during migration to ensure a seamless transition.

Basic Qualifications (BQ):

- Prior experience using migration tools such as CloudEndure and Double-Take, as well as AWS services.
- Proficient in utilizing AWS services for migration, including Migration Hub, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), and AWS Server Migration Service (SMS).
- Familiarity with Database servers is a plus, along with proficiency in the Migration Service (SMS) and AWS Database Migration Service (DMS).
