Context
The Group’s IoT Center of Excellence is a strategic entity responsible for leading the design, governance, and continuous improvement of IoT solutions across the organization. It serves four core missions:
- Providing governance and technical expertise in IoT
- Acting as the single point of contact for all IoT-related projects
- Managing the maintenance and evolution of the enterprise IoT platform
- Ensuring consistent and effective integration of business projects with the central platform
As the platform enters a RUN phase, the focus shifts to continuous enhancement, improved scalability, and long-term sustainability through strategic technical guidance and innovation.
We are seeking an experienced Technical Architect to reinforce our IoT and Cloud initiatives. The architect will play a key role in:
- Defining and evolving the target architecture for the Group’s Azure-based IoT platform
- Ensuring architectural alignment across business units and IT stakeholders
- Driving technology decisions, cloud-native best practices, and DevOps/IoT adoption
- Designing scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions to support ongoing and future use cases
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners on platform evolution and integration
- Supporting governance processes and architectural documentation
- Ensuring interoperability between the platform and business applications
- Define and maintain architecture blueprints for IoT and related digital solutions
- Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and frameworks aligned with business and technical needs
- Lead design reviews and provide guidance on architecture-related topics to development and DevOps teams
- Oversee API design and integration standards
- Monitor platform scalability, security, performance, and availability
- Support project scoping, technical validation, and cost estimation
- Act as a technical point of contact for stakeholders, including business, IT, and partners
- Contribute to architectural governance and decision-making processes
- Proven experience in IoT architecture and cloud-native design
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including Azure IoT, Azure DevOps, and AKS
- Strong background in .NET development, API architecture, and system integration
- Experience with Power Platform, particularly Power Apps, is a plus
- Familiarity with security standards, data flows, and high-availability cloud patterns
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and DevOps frameworks
- Ability to communicate architectural concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- 6+ years of experience in software and system architecture, with significant exposure to IoT and cloud projects
- Comfortable working in complex enterprise environments involving multiple teams and technologies
- Fluent in English
- Strong problem-solving mindset, stakeholder engagement skills, and attention to detail
