Job Description:
The primary purpose of this position is to support the AIAS Team with the onboarding of DMV Systems applications, analysis and review, and code modifications for distributed applications. This position will develop and implement complex processes to extract source code and any supporting technical artifacts from the Source Code Repositories so static code analysis can be conducted on client Systems applications. This position also develops and implements solutions and enhances data analysis, reporting capabilities and data visualization.

Description (including, but not limited to):

  • Technical expertise centered around a technology, technologies, or a portfolio of applications
  • Specialization in application, technical, domain, or solution architecture, including design and implementation of solutions
  • Successful development and maintenance of formal strategies, sourcing guidance, technical standards, blueprints, reference architectures, architecture patterns and technology roadmaps for a given architecture domain
  • Successful completion of technology projects within area of responsibility
  • Definition and management of team structure and resource levels to support business needs of functional area
  • Analyzing and estimating feasibility and compatibility of solutions with existing EA including hardware, network and other programs. Guide decision makers toward the final solution architecture which is most compliant with EA.
  • Conducting industry and market research of technologies and general themes in assigned architecture areas.
  • Engaging agency subject matter experts and business liaisons to ensure proper alignment between business and IT
  • Solid proven experience in distributed applications using web services, RESTful services, FTP, SFTP …etc.
  • Leading application-related projects involving multiple staff across specialty areas using strong communication skills.
  • Evaluating and analyzing existing specialized applications and defining problems effectively in order to make recommendations and accurately identify business needs and process improvements.
  • Perform a wide range of programming and analysis work and to work independently.
  • Review and translate specifications to develop solutions to implement highly complex technology solutions using PowerBI and DataBricks to organize and display large amounts of complicated data.

Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Proven experience in corporate and/or government program analysis of complex applications Required 10 Years Strong experience .NET technologies including C#, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework, Dapper and .NET Core, RESTful/ SOAP webservices Required 10 Years Strong experience with JavaScript/TypeScript/jQuery, Node.js, WCF and related framework, SQL Server and PostgreSQL Required 10 Years Experienced in using DevOps tools, especially Azure DevOps, for implementing CI/CD pipelines including automation, configuration management. Required 10 Years Experience in ETL, BI tools like Power BI, Tableau or similar. Required 5 Years Data Bricks, CAST AIP/Imaging, CAST Highlight Highly desired 2 Years
