This senior, high-impact position is tailored for a pragmatic, seasoned Technical Architect – Developer Hybrid. You will collaborate with some of the brightest minds in the financial sector to develop a next-generation platform vision.

The role demands a hands-on Technical Architect who remains actively engaged in the day-to-day challenges. This individual will blend the finest qualities of a technical visionary with those of an execution-driven leader, capable of designing robust backend systems while swiftly diving into complex production environments to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.


RequirementsKey ResponsibilitiesPlatform Architecture & Design

Lead, manage, and implement multiple initiatives for next-generation platforms.

Design backend architectures to support massive scalability, exceptional availability, and high performance by leveraging Java microservices alongside rigorous AI and API-first design methodologies.

Full-Stack Ecosystem Synchronization

Serve as the technical design authority, ensuring smooth data flow, state management, and consistency across Java backend services, React web platforms, and Mobile/POS applications (including Android and C++ kernels).

AI Development & Engineering

Take a hands-on role in prototyping, designing, and integrating AI/ML tools into core production workflows, such as intelligent reconciliation engines, fraud detection systems, and transaction optimization processes.

Production SWAT & Observability

Be the primary responder for critical production incidents.

Directly reduce mean time to recovery (MTTR) by diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues within an environment that includes Spring Boot microservices, Docker containers, and AWS infrastructure.

Best Practices & Quality

Promote XP practices including Test-Driven Development (TDD), code refactoring, and maintaining clean code standards.

Develop processes and strategies to guarantee platform uptime and resilience.

Stakeholder Collaboration

Collaborate closely with Product Management and clients to define release scopes, convert business objectives into technical execution plans, and ensure delivery of high-quality outcomes on schedule without compromising quality for speed.

Technical Skills and ExperienceCore Language & Frameworks

Possess deep, practical expertise in Java and the Spring Boot framework.

Preference given to individuals with polyglot capabilities who can adapt to multi-language environments.

Cloud & Orchestration

Extensive experience architecting and implementing solutions with AWS services, Docker containerization, and Kubernetes orchestration (including NLB/ALB and Ingress Controllers).

Data & Messaging Systems

Skilled in designing distributed systems using both SQL and NoSQL databases, with advanced performance tuning, as well as expertise in messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ and NATS.

AI / ML Pipeline

Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools, large language models (LLMs), or foundational frameworks into high-throughput backend systems.

Observability & Infrastructure

Strong commitment to automation through CI/CD pipelines.

Experience in deploying observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana for logging, monitoring, and distributed tracing.

Client Aware Capabilities

Solid foundational knowledge of JavaScript frameworks (React) and mobile development (Android/iOS) to effectively oversee full-stack technical integrations.

Familiarity with C++ for reading or tracing low-level POS code is advantageous.

Qualification

A minimum of 10 years of technical experience in product-led, tech-driven companies, with significant exposure to fast-growing fintech or high-volume payment processing environments.

Possess a BE / B.Tech / MCA / M.Sc degree from a premier, tier-1, or tier-2 institute.
