About The Role
As a Technical Application Specialist in our brand new Regional Hub / Shared Services Centre (SSC) in Mid Valley City, Kuala Lumpur, you will have the opportunity to play a role in implementing, managing, and optimizing the ERP systems. As a skilled and analytical ERP Technical Consultant, you will work closely with internal user to understand their business needs and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Analyse business processes to identify areas where ERP systems can improve efficiency
- Design, configure, and implement customized ERP solutions to meet business requirements
- Conduct training sessions for end-users to ensure they understand how to use the ERP system effectively
- Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to ERP system users
- Monitor and maintain the ERP system to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with end users and other IT professionals to update and upgrade the ERP system
- Document all aspects of the ERP system implementation process for future reference
- Stay up-to-date with the latest ERP technology trends and advancements
- Make recommendations for future upgrades or changes to the ERP system based on business needs and technology trends
- In this role you will be collaborating with various stakeholders across the business including our Global functions teams in Netherlands & other parts of the world.
- Our Regional Hub supports a hybrid working approach. You will be supporting markets in multiple time zones and some flexibility around working hours will be needed.
- You will be joining a newly formed Shared Services Centre team, with opportunities to grow, within IT Application or wider Global IT functions.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 3 - 4 years of proven experience as an ERP Technical Consultant or similar role, preferrable Infor LN
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Infor LN)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to create technical design documents
- EDI/FTP/Batch-file scripting (programming) skills. Experience in ITSM (TopDesk, ServiceNow, JIRA)
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and upgrading SharePoint systems; managing user accounts and permissions; and providing technical support
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and a good team player
Nice To Have
- Knowledge of Infor LN administration knowledge is a plus
- Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese
- Good written and spoken English is essential
Qualification / Education
- Bachelor's Degree of Information Technology / Computer Science, or a related field
