Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Analyst - Web Development Lead to lead a team of web developers who are responsible for building, maintaining, and ensuring the health of client websites across various platforms, including custom platforms, WordPress, and Duda. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, demonstrate proficiency in coding, and have a keen understanding of website performance, security, and optimization. As the lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of web development projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables, and managing the technical health of multiple client websites.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of web developers to build, maintain, and optimize client websites across various platforms.
  • Review and ensure the technical health of websites, including performance, security, and SEO optimization.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to identify technical requirements and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Conduct technical audits and performance analysis, troubleshooting and resolving issues related to website functionality and performance.
  • Oversee and implement coding standards, quality assurance processes, and best practices in web development.
  • Stay current with web development trends, platform updates (WordPress, Duda, custom platforms), and emerging technologies.
  • Ensure websites are responsive, fast-loading, secure, and user-friendly across all devices and browsers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website errors, performance issues, and code bugs in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with other departments (e.g., design, SEO, and marketing teams) to ensure the seamless integration of development tasks with overall business objectives.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering exceptional results.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for web developers, ensuring high-quality code and timely project completion.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical proficiency in web development languages and frameworks, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL.
  • Proficient with popular CMS platforms such as WordPress and Duda; experience with custom platform development a plus.
  • Deep understanding of web performance optimization techniques (e.g., page speed, image optimization, caching).
  • Knowledge of website security best practices and experience implementing secure coding standards.
  • Experience with SEO best practices and implementing technical SEO strategies.
  • Expertise in web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) for monitoring and improving website performance.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team of developers.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • A passion for staying updated on the latest web technologies, tools, and industry trends.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in web development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or technical management role.
  • Proven experience with leading and managing a team of web developers.
  • Extensive experience with WordPress, Duda, and custom platform development.
  • Strong background in coding and development best practices.
  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.
  • Certifications in web development or related technologies (e.g., Google Analytics, SEO certifications) are a plus.
