How you’ll make an impact
As a Technical Analyst, you’ll ensure the reliability, performance, security and scalability of our cloud ecosystem within Amazon Web Services. With a strong customer focus, you’ll work closely with stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into practical, high‑quality, well-tested and aligned technical solutions.
In this role, you’ll manage, support, and optimize our data environments built using native AWS technologies. You’ll make a tangible impact by developing new tools, implementing and supporting technology process automation, and continuously improving existing systems. Your work will help streamline processes, enhance integration, and improve how technology supports FCC’s corporate and operational teams' reporting, ultimately enabling better service for our customers.

What you’ll do
Be responsible for Business Intelligence platform administration, user governance and collaboration with data engineering and business stakeholders
Manage user access provisioning and monitor data processes and system health
Manage version control and deployment between environments (DEV/ITE/PRD)
Ensure compliance with internal data governance standards
Use AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and automate dataset refresh failure resolution
Collaborate with colleagues and partners to simplify and streamline processes that improve the end user and operational experience
Support senior analysts by identifying and escalating technical or design challenges related to solution configuration or integration with existing frameworks and environments
Triage production incidents, analyze logs and metrics, escalate complex issues to data engineering teams, document recurring issues and recommend automation improvements
Develop scripts to automate monitoring tasks, improve alerting thresholds and notification workflows
Optimize ETL job performance and cost efficiency
Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views and optimization of SQL
Participate in on-call rotation (if applicable)
What you’ll bring to the team
Required qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or Information Technology
Minimum five years of SQL experience
Minimum two years of experience with AWS technologies and concepts: AWS Data Pipeline, DMS, Glue, Step Functions, Lambda, S3, RedShift, QuickSight
Proven experience in ETL & BI support or data analytics roles
Understanding of data warehousing concepts
Proven ability to perform assessments of complex technical solutions to identify issues and resolve incidents
Extensive knowledge of computer programming, systems analysis, design concepts, development methodologies and industry trends
Preferred qualifications:
AWS certifications (e.g., Cloud Practitioner, Data Engineer, Solutions Architect)
Scripting experience (Python/BOTO3 & TypeScript)
Experience with DevOps or DataOps practices
Experience coaching, mentoring, or people leadership
Experience leading demos and presentations
