Advice our colleagues to the right platform for their analytics, AI, and data science needs.  Gain a comprehensive overview of our current offerings and suggest improvements in the platforms, but also in the process that guides people to the platforms. Structure the process that points them to the right service and understand the special cases before forwarding them to a bespoke solution.  

On a day-to-day basis, your work comprises:

• Understand the goals and needs of new colleagues across the entire bank when it comes to the utilization of modern data science and AI technology. 

• Connect and communicate with a variety of stakeholders, users and other teams to ensure that they use our centralized services and platforms.

• Summarize special cases and bring them to your leadership if our process leaves the option open.

• Contribute and improve our documents, processes and governance.

• Grow your knowledge about new technology entering the market, attend conferences to remain up to date with modern analytics technology.

• Play a key role in in ensuring our teams and platforms’ security and risk controls are compliant. 

• 36h per week. 

• Over 2,000 colleagues using analytics services within Rabobank.

• 9.5 million customers worldwide. 

• Stand ready to advice when users have use cases and look for the right technology.

• Onboard new analytics services into our process on a business level before developers carry out the technical implementation.

• Support the product owner in vision setting, day-to-day activities, and backlog organization.

• Good understanding of analytics, AI concepts, AI technologies, data science and analytics workflows (from conception to going live).

• Basic knowledge of Azure infrastructure, Azure DevOps, Azure Pipelines and Databricks.

• Optional: knowledge of Azure Foundry, Azure OpenAI, Foundry Tools, AWS Bedrock, AWS infrastructure – it is unlikely that a person fits all these requirements, thus they are optional.

• Experience in working in a regulated and security-focused environment: confidentiality, availability and integrity of data; AI Act, GDPR.

• Advanced knowledge (2 years) of IT governance, CMDB, access request processes, IAM, RBAC, IT processes – having worked in service-desk position helps.

• Soft skills: Abstract thinking, strong communication skills, motivation to improve processes, proactive, team player.

• Energy to engage with other users of vastly different backgrounds almost on a daily basis.

• Eager to evolve your knowledge because this field of work is anything but static.

• Good command of the English language. Dutch is a plus, but not required.
