About the Job
The Technical Analyst, Browser Extension will support a balance of technical troubleshooting, customer advocacy, and cross-functional collaboration with software engineering. This role will play a critical role in shaping how users interact with our Snapshot tool and other browser extension functionalities. You’ll not only coordinate issue resolution but also proactively identify and address emerging web compatibility challenges.
Responsibilities
- Monitor, support and enhance the functionality of our browser extension tool and Snapshot feature, particularly its ability to identify, triage, and drive fixes for login autofill and related web compatibility issues
- Communicate directly with customers to confirm issue resolution and provide status updates post-fix deployment
- Collaborate with engineers to report and validate bugs related to browser extension functionality and website compatibility
- Monitor Slack and log tickets for documentation issues
- Proactively identify websites with autofill issues and coordinate solutions
- Maintain and prioritize a backlog of known compatibility issues, working toward continuous product improvements
- Propose ideas and enhancements for the Snapshot Tool’s workflow and user experience
- Act as a liaison between support, product, and engineering teams to ensure alignment and timely execution of fixes
- Perform competitive research and log screen recordings and notes to a database
- Generate reports based on competitive research findings
- Contribute to programmatic training of Keeper's product through site research and data entry of site research findings
- Potentially help scale the function by guiding onboarding and mentorship of future team members
- 2+ years of experience in a professional technical analyst or technical support role with interest and familiarity with web development tools
- Ability to understand complex technical concepts and learn new software quickly
- Proficient with on time delivery of services with minimal supervision
- Knowledge of web applications, cloud computing, client server applications, and database concepts
- Experience with tools like Jira, Zendesk, or bug tracking platforms is a plus
- Strong organizational and communication skills, especially across cross-functional teams
